Clearwater Police said Pace was in a restaurant parking lot Wednesday when a man grabbed him from behind and tried to take his wallet. Pace resisted and was knocked to the ground. In Port St. Lucie, FL, Sheriff’s deputies busted a methamphetamine lab Tuesday. The lab was located in a shed behind a home that belonged to 25-year-old Sergiy Matirniy. The case began when employees at a pool supply store notified police of a man attempting to make suspicious purchases. The men working in the pool supply store asked Matirniy why he needed the chemicals and he said he was trying to create chloroform. After refusing to sell him the chemicals, the store employees notified police. Police arrived on the scene and searched Matirniy’s vehicle.
