When community members believe that the arrest was wrongfully conducted, people band together online or even in public in an attempt to rectify the situation. In this case, a 12-year-old boy was arrested for shoplifting. The catch is that the boy has been diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome, a highly-functioning level of autism. According to an article in WPTV News, a Palm Beach County bus aide is facing serious charges. He has been accused of sexual battery for exposing himself and inappropriately touching a little girl riding the bus on Tuesday afternoon. The Details Thony Desir, 39, has admitted to inappropriately touching a young girl and exposing himself, according to police. The victim, a young special needs child in elementary school, told her mother what had happened the following day. Police were called immediately.
