According to Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office, Daniel Alan Spitz (former Anthrax guitarist) was arrested at his Lake Worth home after a 911 call. Spitz’s mother-in-law called 911 after an argument between Spitz and his wife turned violent. Wrapped hands around the neck, punching, tackling and scratching were all part of the fight and his wife’s account of it turned to out be accurate, as supported by photo of her injuries. Former Miami Dolphins wide receiver Mark Duper was released from jail Thursday, charged after police say he beat his 17-year-old son during a series of fights at their Jacksonville home. Duper, who starred for the Dolphins from 1982 to 1992, spent a night in jail after his arrest Wednesday on one count of felony child abuse. He was released Thursday afternoon after posting a $5,000 bail, police in Jacksonville said. Authorities say Duper attacked his son, Marcus, three times and knocked him out twice. A suburban West Palm Beach man is facing aggravated battery and child abuse charges after he allegedly struck his children’s mother with a belt and power cord, according to police. Investigators then went to Andrews’ home, where they found the children’s mother with a bandage on her left ear. West Palm Beach man was arrested on Thursday, accused of beating his girlfriend with a “wooden 2×4.” Steve Devon Bedward, 27, is being held at the Palm Beach County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail on charges of aggravated battery. West Palm Beach Police officers were sent to the couple’s home in the 1000 block of Selkirk Street to reports of a domestic violence incident.
