Last week, WPTV News posted an article describing the death of a 3-year-old boy caused by blunt force trauma. The tragic part of this case is that the trauma was a result of child abuse. The article read: a woman and her boyfriend are accused of the beating death of her 3-year-old son after he wet his pants. Authorities say 26-year-old Robin Greinke and 33-year-old Steven Neil were arrested Thursday. They each face charges of first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse and child neglect. Child abuse is a crime not often reported by the victim. In many cases, teachers, neighbors, and other friends of the family are the ones to report suspected child abuse. Once reported, the investigation process is thorough and exhausting. According to WPTV News, the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office arrested Amber Koebernik for aggravated child abuse with serious bodily injury on Thursday, March 10th. Earlier in the week, deputies arrived at Raulerson Hospital, in reference to a Department of Children and Families investigation. Hospital personnel informed the authorities that the child had arrived with three fractured ribs, a bruised liver, and a punctured lung. How A Woman Was Barely Sentenced For Abusing Her Mother

A Greenacres woman accused of abusing and stealing money from her own mother faced a judge Monday morning. Jessica Rampersadsingh was sentenced to six years of probation and is now required to pay $25,000 in restitution. That is a small fraction of the amount she’s accused of stealing from her elderly mother. Last year, Rampersadsingh was arrested and accused of draining her mother’s bank account of $140,000 in the course of 8 months. Investigators say she would give her mother medication, then get her to write checks, allegedly threatening to throw the handicapped woman on the street if she didn’t do as told. According to an article in WPTV News Channel 5, Slobodan Dragic of Suburban West Palm Beach was arrested Thursday morning for allegedly shooting and killing his wife, Jelena Dragic. The shooting happened at 692 Harth Drive in Suburban West Palm Beach. It was shocking to neighbors like Charles Lowe. “Anything could happen anywhere, you know what I mean?
