According to an article in WPTV News, a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Deputy was forced to open fire on a 17-year old juvenile delinquent. The teen had stolen his mother’s car, and fled from the police after his mother called the authorities. “I turned out of the store, I see a white van going south on Royal Palm Beach Boulevard and I made a u-turn thinking he might need some help,” said Charles Humphrey, who lives near the scene of the accident. “When he got down here, I realized he wasn’t in need of help, he was running from the police,” said Charles Humphrey.
