How A St. Petersburg Lawyer Was Caught Trafficking Oxycodone

A St. Petersburg lawyer has been arrested on charges of trafficking Oxycodone and possession of a controlled substance. He was arrested when he was caught trying to smuggle Oxycodone pills into the Pinellas County Jail. Byron T. Christopher, 31, of St. Petersburg, was arrested a few weeks ago after detention deputies at Pinellas County jail received a tip that Christopher was bringing controlled substances into the jail. They were also tipped off that Christopher was trying to find a third party to give him the drugs so he could complete the transaction. Detectives set up an undercover ‘deal’ through the third party. Christopher agreed to smuggle 50 Oxycodone pills to the jail, and in return would receive 20 Oxycodone pills for himself. He was arrested at a Mobile gas station… […]
