According to My Fox Tampa Bay, 12 women were arrested in Lakeland Thursday for soliciting prostitution. The arrests were actually a result from residents calling in complaints about prostitution activity. Complaints are usually one of the most common ways arrests are made during prostitution stings. According to an article in the Palm Beach Post, a 27-year-old Lake Worth man is facing charges for possession of child pornography, according to Palm Beach County State Attorney Michael McAuliffe. The Palm Beach County Sexual Predator Enforcement Unit announced that Odson Francois was arrested at his home on Wednesday. Detectives reported finding, on Francois’ home computer, images and videos showing children involved in sex acts. The investigative report states a forensic review revealed 14 of the 20 downloaded files were videos. A Colorado man who wrote a how-to guide for pedophiles is scheduled for his first appearance in a Florida court. Phillip Greaves of Pueblo, Colo., is charged with violating Florida’s obscenity law, a third-degree felony. A court hearing is scheduled for Wednesday. The 47-year-old was arrested Monday in Colorado. Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd claims jurisdiction because Greaves sold and mailed a copy of his horrifying book directly to undercover deputies who had requested a copy and paid $50. 20-year-old Francisco Henry appeared in front of a Palm Beach County judge yesterday, March 4th. He is accused of committing a vicious sex crime in Delray Beach, Florida, two weeks ago.
