According to WPTV News, a man who attempted to board a plane with a pistol in his fanny pack is in the custody of Metro Dade Police. According to the arresting officer, Juan Manuel Baldoquin was stopped by TSA security Thursday after a screener spotted a pistol in Baldoquin’s fanny pack. Baldoquin told investigators “That is my firearm. I honestly forgot that I was carrying thefirearm.” A records check on the pistol showed it listed as stolen back on March 8, 1996 in West Palm Beach. According to an article in WPTV news, five men were taken into custody early Sunday in West Palm Beach. The men came ashore on a boat and were arrested at about 6:00 a.m. Authorities say a Palm Beach Police Officer saw a man walking barefoot by the beach. The officer stopped him for questioning and later found 4 other men. Police say they suspect the men are from Turkey and the Bahamas. Their boat was found in the 1400 block on North Ocean Boulevard. According to an article in WPTV News Channel 5, Slobodan Dragic of Suburban West Palm Beach was arrested Thursday morning for allegedly shooting and killing his wife, Jelena Dragic. According to an article in WPTV News Channel 5, three suspects are being held at the Palm Beach County Jail faced with several charges in connection with a bank robbery and carjacking on Tuesday in West Palm Beach. Investigators are saying the bank robbery was an inside job. Assistant manager Barbara Hauck gave information and helped plan the heist with her boyfriend, Juan Mercado, and friend, Clifford Davis, the night before. According to Victoria Price, a WPTV News Channel 5 reporter, seven Haitian immigrants were dropped off on a Manalapan beach Thursday evening. Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and Border Patrol are continuing to search on foot and by helicopter for up to five more immigrants. Of the seven people taken into custody, two were infants. Palm Beach County Fire-Rescue medics transported the two infants and the five adults to Bethesda Memorial Hospital to be evaluated.
